Tilly attended Closedrest at a very young age. That is where she first met her future husband, who at the time found he could not deal with Closedrest and dropped out to go to no non-magickal school. After finishing four years at Closedrest, she then attended normal schooling for three years because Closedrest had made her frightened of magick. It was when she realized she had missed it that she went to Lockdrest for four years and then to a non-magickal college to see if she liked that. She then found the man she met in Closedrest again and they ended up marrying years later while she was a teacher for three years at a non-magickal school. But then she finally decided she missed magick, and he agreed it was a part of her, so she went to be a teacher at Lockdrest. She travels to see her husband often using the magick they have right outside of Lockdrest. Her husband, who now works in the non-magickal justice industry, also comes to the school sometimes.
